Lg U880 Synchronising Sms Messages

How can you back up SMS messages to a CD from an LG U880. I can read the files in the PC part of the phone manager but am unable to export these messages to a file or files to back up to a CD.

Also, if it cannot be done, is there a piece of software that can do it.
