Hello Welcome to Talk3G! You managed to find the N70 section OK in the end I see? Good good.

Try www.cbfmobile.com - you can send an operator logo, blank or otherwise, to your mobile for the cost of a standard text. It'd be a simpler way than using FExplorer.

I'm sure some of our other N70 users will be able to advise you on FExplorer next time they're online

How are you finding the phone? What network are you on?

I tried the CBF mobile route and sent myself an operator logo and I received it via text but my Voda operator logo remains!

I think it's a logo for old Nokias but which ones are good to go with the N70?

Try downloading whatever image you want as your op logo..
( I get mine from http://symbian.mobilethemes.com/ under 'Elements' )

Then transfer the image to your memory card on your phone.
After that go back into FExplorer:

E Drive
Images
Highlight 'your Image'
Options
File
Set as Operator Logo

That should sort it out for you.

Ah good stuff, Whatleydude.

Ginz - SMS operator logos should still work, but they're very particular about whether they actually display or not. If you've ported your number you may need to try both networks when selecting the Operator, and/or try Other and let the system guess at what network your logo should be configured for based on your numbers prefix. It's a bit of a minefield, I agree!
