Default n70 Mail Settings Amnesia

I am wondering if anyone else using the built in mail client has had this problem.

This is about the 6th time I have had to re-enter my mail settings in the phone and it is becoming a bit of a pain.

I like to take pictures with the phone and upload them to my Flickr account while I am out and recently everytime I've tried to send a pic I need to sit down and re-enter the settings...

Anyone?

I set up a test account with freenet 3 months ago - I've never used my n70 for email other than testing, and the settings are still intact.

SW version:
2.0539.1.1
29-09-05
RM-84

on Voda (not that it should matter)

I do use the E-Mail on my phone, and had no problems with it at all. On Orange - Not sure how you get the information about the version number etc sorry.

For reference:

type *#0000# in the idle screen and you'll get a pop up with the info in

first line is the SW version, second is the build date and the third is specific to the handset - all N70s will be RM84 or RM99 (the latter being specific for EDGE versions

other useful codes can be found in this thread:

I wonder if removing the memory card could be a cause of this?

Possibly, can't remember where the mail settings are stored - could be that it's using (or trying to use) the memory card and getting confused if you take it out. try leaving a card in, setting it and then leaving the card alone and see if that solves the problem

Thinking on it, it did seem to happen after putting a new card I got before christmas in and again with one I got after christmas, so this could be the culprit.
