I got a question about images stored on the N70. When I connect the phone to my computer with Nokia PC Suite I can see a list of all the images from my phone with the Phone Browser. Now if I open a picture and then use the Next Image button (instead of opening them all one by one) I even get pictures I already (at least that's what I thought) deleated, but I can't find them anywhere on the phone. Btw, I was looking at pictures on the memory card.

I'm not sure where you mean..
In the phone browser part? File manager?
Or in the Image Exchange thing?

I've got PC Suite Image Transfer wired up so it searches my N70 and saves any new photos straight to my 'phone pics' folder as soon as I plug the phone in.
Dunno if that helps?

Don't know if this makes it easier for you: I open Nokia PC Suite -> File Manager -> Nokia N70 -> Memory Card -> Images
Now when I open one of the pictures from the Images folder on the computer and continue with the Next Image button (still on the computer) I can still see pictures I already deleated on the phone (and no, they are not stored on the computer either!)
So the "problem" I have got, how can I delete them permanently?

How bizzare! How do you both delete the images? Have you tried deleting them both via the handset and via the file manager and still had the same results?

Perhaps it's a memory card problem... when something gets deleted it doesn't 'actually' get deleted - just marked so an operating system knows it can overwrite it without any worry. Oo I do love the really benign and bizzare faults phones create!

When something is deleted on any drive, it keeps an 'image' of itself there too. It's how these programs work that recover lost data. The reason you can see them on your PC is because you probably have 'show hidden files and folders' enabled in your folder options in windows explorer. You should be able to permanently delete the images using windows explorer.
