Default HTTP/1.0 Not supported Method - bad drivers

I had the same mysterious problem with finn.no, a norwegian site wich use javascript on.click actions. It turned out to be the RAlink drivers for my CNET wireless USB dongle (http://www.cnetusa.com/product/specs/wl_CWD-854.htm). I also happened using the LAN connection, so the answer was to remove drivers completely and use the LAN connection to access the site. This was indeed a wierd thing for a driver to do...

Append: I use Windows 2000 Pro, so I don't know if there is a problem like this in XP/Vista.
