Milkmaid (?) advert

Ok, disregarding the official 'meaning', here's what I think the advert means.

The woman has paricularly large hands because she has evolved (yes Anna, evolved, use some breadsticks if if helps) after using phones from Three's handset range for so long.

She's carted off at the end because having big hands, and being on Three, is just not cool. Her normal-sized-hands 2.5G counterparts are able to continue their game.

What does the advert mean to you? (use your imagination...)

The milkmaid is the 3 customers, the basket is open net access and the ball is 3's progress.

The milkmaid gets everso closer to the hoop (3 customers getting everso close to finally getting open data access) only to be snatched away and back to the starting point at the last minute.

She's an outsider, with something that could make her the best. She enters the game late and at first seems as though she could run away with everything. Then people realise that she's a bit of a freak that hasn't really thought about what she's doing, she buggered off from home and entered the game without even putting a basketball top on, so the groups gang up on her, call in OFCOM and cart her off because she's outsourced her CS and isn't playing fair. The other teams go on to win and have fun. The end.

I think the Milkmaid represents H3G

She wants to be a Basketball player , despite being far too short , and her only suitable feature is her big hands - so she assumes that she can just turn up and her big hands will make up for her lack of other basketball attributes

She was Ideally suited to milking cows with large udders , but she chose to use her "advantage" doing something she quite simply isn't suited to - causing lots of frustration to all around

This represents Three having (for some time) the ONLY 3G network in the country & using it for something other than it was intended (i.e. High speed data)
Well, as for the Milkmaids basketball carreer ? you saw how it ended , she'll be back milking cows now
