Alarm Question

I should be receiving my V3x on Monday or Tuesday but have a few questions...

I have a E1070 but when I set the alarm, I have to activate it every night in order for it to work... does the V3x alarm work the same way or is it continuous?

The SEK750i worked great as I set it to Mon-Fri 8.00 and forgot about the alarm because it worked mon-fri at 8am but its unforunate that the E1070 needs activated daily.
