Default Motorola C117 Receiving problem

I purchased a Motorola C117 3 weeks ago and it seems when the battery power start getting low (2 bar), not all calls made to my phone comes throug, instead the caller gets voicemail. When the battery goes down to 1 bar, basically no calls comes through and SMS's that there are messages on voicemail for me, only comes through hours later.

Is it because it is a bad quality phone or is it a problem with my spesific phone? I don't believe it can be a network problem because I never had problems with my previos Siemens phone.

Hi,

Welcome to Talk3G. This doesn't appear to be a 3G handset... you should consider getting one

It could be a problem with the phones firmware - you can probably send it to Motorola for repair under warranty if it's currently covered. Otherwise, just make sure you keep the battery topped up!
