 Nokia 6680 Firmware
My nokia 6680 is locked to the three network.
If I go and ask a nokia service centre to give my phone a generic flash (i.e. not the 3 software) will they be able to do this? Please reply ASAP Regards Nathan J Fox

As far as I remember, 3 don't like anyone touching their SW, they seem to be the pickiest about it. This also seems to be reflected at the repair centers.
A Nokia service center may remove some Three branding, however the handset will remain locked to Three. You may have to prove that the Three branding is causing problems and that's why you require a "generic" flash. I think it also depends on where/who you get in the shop. You'll only find out by going and asking I'm afraid. For example, on here some of the guys wanted the Orange branding out of their 6680s and CPW/Nokia RC had quoted £30, yet when I went to mine it was done for free under warranty with no problems. It's just your Donald I think!

ok thanks. Is the Vid. editor in the imaging folder three software?- Or is that nokia? Because that doesn't work on mine.
