 02 videocalls same price as voice
02 have introduced a promotion to encourage videocall take-up. They are charging the same for videocalls to all UK networks as you would pay for voice calls.
The promotion runs until 30th September 2005 and is available on Contract and PAYG. http://www.o2.co.uk/videocalling

But what use is it since their 3G coverage is startlingly similar to the dinosaurs!?!?

lol, it's certainly fair to say that the offer gives O2 'limited exposure' to people going nuts and making tonnes of video calls. However, in areas where there is O2 3G coverage it's certainly worth taking advantage of!

I have an excellent 02 3G signal where I live. We shall see how good it is for video calls next week when i get my free 02 3G SIM upgrade.
