Question Price change ?

hi all ,

I took out the 200 mins and 250 txt £25.00 a month on vodafone . I chose the SE W900i handset cost £90.00 about 2 days ago ( had the no stock e-mail ) but now the handset is £110.00 on the same tariff ? I thought the price would have come down !!!!

cheers.

Hello, welcome to Talk3G!

The demand for this handset is currently outstripping supply ahead of Christmas. I'd imagine the Walkman branding has a lot to do with that. Demand will soon drop off after Christmas (lets face it, this is a big handset and it's not going to be a massive seller), but until then those companies who do have stock will be wanting to charge a premium!

Fantastic handset, definitely justifies the price right now given the competition.

I reckon the mobops will be glad to make the extra £20 per handset while they can. Market forces in play I'm afraid. But it is a luverly handset all round. Ordered mine on the flashy 500 tariff for £40 so the HS is free (yea, right!).
