Default 6230 problem

not sure if i should post here.

sorry if i shouldn't

i have a 6230 and a problem. the phone thinks that there is a headset connected but there isn't,so when i try to use the phone i can't hear the other person.

is there anyway that i can fix this

As you'll know the 6230 is a 2G phone, but we'll try and help if we can.

I tried connecting the headset and you do get volune through it but the problem is still there when i disconnect the headset. the code *#7370# doesn't seem to work on my phone. do you have any other ideas?

Other than taking the battery out while the phone is switched on, leaving it for a while, then re-inserting it - and/or doing a factory reset - it might be a job for your nearest Nokia service centre.
