Simple? Have you ever used a Nokia smartphone? lol

I'm still overwhelmed by how much my 6680 can do - it seems to be as simple or as complicated as I make it. It's certainly simple as in easy-to-use for the basic features but extremely powerful too. I could never go back from a Symbian handset now, unless it was possibly a Windows Mobile handset.

yea i agree i have actually got a a1000 at the moment and my sister has just got a nk 6680 on three it is impressive especially the camera and video functions are brilliant and the quick release memory slot is a gr8 addition but in the fact that there is only so much u can actually do with the phone as it is not a uiq but the more i think about it the more u have won me over it is quite a good handset can u tell me what is the memory expandable to as on the a1000 it is 512mb i hear

UIQ is just another vendors version of what Nokia call Series 60. The 6680 has endless possibilities as you can install any compatible applications you like. I have installed Nokia Sensor, vRadio, Virgin Radio, Orange TV, Orange Music Player, Agile Messenger and Opera to name but a few! The only restriction is the network - your sisters handset on 3 will obviously have no Internet access so almost all of those applications I just listed would be useless! :(

Memory expansion goes as big as the cards - now 512mb, it'll surely be 1GB soon.

yea damn that walled garden but im not going to go into that i can access the net on my a1k by connecting via bluetooth via my pc but whats the point of that to be honest unless u want to watch the footy and chat on msn as well :D good point about the open orange access do they charge for there 3g data service?

Orange offer 1GB of data free for the first 3 months. After that there are a selection of reasonably priced data bundles available.

Vodafone's data bundles are less clear. With Vodafone you buy extras packs and get approximately double that value in cash credit. That credit can then be used for texts/MMS/data etc, but even then data is still ~£1.18/mb!

I agree Voda is unclear and even if you ask you dont get a straight answer
