I presume that you mean that Three are asking you for your security PIN code that you possibly set up when you first joined them. If you cannot remember it then ask them to pass you on to someone who can help you reset the code. They can and should do that for you.

The trouble is, it all depends on who you get to talk to at their call centre. If it is an inexperienced call centre agent they may not know how to deal with your enquiry. So perhaps it would be better to hang up and call again so that you get to speak with someone else who may be better experienced.
