With the news that EE and now Three will subsidise the iPad, what of operator locks? I'd seriously consider a new iPad on Three (assuming a new one comes out early next year here) and happily take a subsidy if the tariff is good but only if the iPad is sold unlocked.

I'm sure when the financials work out I'll end up with an Apple-bought unit and microSIM from Three :)
