I... I think I want this one... I swore off HTC after the TyTN, but they're absolutely hosing the market with handsets at the moment and, given the 'PC' nature of the industry now that mobile OSs are falling away rapidly their somewhat generic hardware is becoming a major draw.
HTC has announced the HTC Desire, a slightly tweaked version of the Nexus One smartphone the company created for Google.
The HTC Desire, previously known as the HTC Bravo, features all of the great specs found in the Nexus One, but adds an optical trackpad in place of the trackball and uses HTC's Sense UI to add some polish to Android 2.1.
Other noteworthy items include the 3.7-inch capacitive AMOLED touchscreen with multitouch support, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and radios covering just about every connectivity known to man.
