I'm sorry you're still having problems with the network coverage on your
iPhone. I can understand this must be upsetting for you.

Ben, I've checked our records and we're currently not having 3G network
coverage in your postcode area CT2 xxx. I'd request you to contact our
iPhone customer service team on 08706 072 302/ short code - 2302.
They'll transfer your call to our network coverage team and once you've
contacted our networks team, I'm sure you'll reconsider your decision of
changing the service provider. They're available:

- Monday to Friday between 8am and 9pm
- Saturday between 8am and 8pm.
- Sunday between 8am and 6pm.
What's that about, then? What could they possibly offer me, other than a femtocell, that would magically enhance my experience and make me reconsider leaving?

I'm not interested, I've had it with O2, but if anyone else wants to call and find out well, then, go ahead ;)

I've kinda been there too with O2. I complained about not having 3G coverage, they logged it.. and said it may take a couple of *month* before someone gets in touch!! Yes, months.

Quite happy with TMOB now.

Good grief! I suppose I have that to look forward to also ...

On the other hand, I'm impressed that they let me cancel by email. I did call, but a woman answered and said, literally, "Sorry, nothing's working at the moment, but if you call back tomorrow we'll do it then. Bye!"

so Ben

Who are you going with vodafone no much better 3G wise. Orange and three likely the best UK wise, so who are you going to call?

I already switched, to Vodafone. £20/mo for 600 mins, unlimited text, 'unlimited' data.

Vodafone's 3G network is far, far more extensive than O2's - here and, well, generally speaking everywhere. Plus their network actually works. More than I can say for O2. When I tried to call them to cancel I was reminded of how glacially slow they can be to connect calls yet alone do anything else.

My iPhone has been 'new again' since moving network. It really has made a massive difference. I think, now, that Apple was wrong to restrict it to selected carriers. The software-hardware rule of Mac just does not apply.

I'm with vodafone now in NI and their coverage is much better than O2. I suspect orange is ahead with absolute 3G coverage, but their tariffs are more expensive.
