Gosh, this is the second time today that I've been called upon to use this website ...

Of course, O2 have to start somewhere. But if they address LTE as half-arsed as they did 3G/HSPA then it is likely to suffer the same appalling fate.
O2 do not come at this with a state of public trust in place (nor OFCOM for that matter). They can spin it all they like about skipping 3G and going direct to LTE as an original intention. But that is all it will be, spin.
