It would make sense for the product lines to 'merge', yet I think separate distributions for mobile and computer will remain sensible for many years yet. OS X on the iPhone has shown us just how effective a mobile OS can be as an extension of a computer OS if implemented correctly.
Yes, Microsoft, I'm referring to Windows (mobile/phone) as being 'incorrectly' implemented.
