For the first time, ever, I have observed a 3G signal in my house. Its not particularly strong, but its there nonetheless. Previously it was impossible to get unless I stood at the window of the loft dormer extension facing west!!!
Now, I see the 3G signal but it doesn't always last long before dropping back to 2G. Cell breathing?
Considering that there is a Vodafone 3G mast ~150m away from me, in plain view, it cannot be that one they're sharing with yet. But hope springs eternal that I'll actually get some decent 3G before I move off of O2. Too little, too late - besides which their internal network sucks. Even when you can get solid 3G the throughput is dire.
