Useful Nokia Codes

I think it'd be helpful to have our own list of what we consider to be useful Nokia codes. Please only post codes and their functions on this thread - and only ones that are useful in the real world, not huge lists copy-and-pasted from elsewhere.

Here's a few to get us started:

*#06# - Displays handset IMEI
*#0000# - Displays handset software version
*#7780# - Restores default settings
*#7370# - Restores handset contents to factory state (you will lose all your data!)

2. Unit's MADE date (birthdate hehehe)
3. Purchasing date
4. Repaired date
5. Life timer

Thanks TailGater! On the Nokia N80 it gives the Life timer which, apparently, is 59! Go figure! ;) On my Vertu it gives all the details, but it looks like they were never set - they all read as mmyyyy etc.

Hmm.. on my 6680 it tells me my life timer is 164:02, is that the length of time it has left till it goes belly up? *thinks Nokia conspiracy for repair costs* :rolleyes:

I've noticed that you get the option of editing the Purchase Date of the handset in "mmyyyy" format (on my 6280 and the kid's 7210 - not the 6680 which only shows the life timer). A handy little reminder.

^^ How come the 6280 doesn't show a serial number? :confused:

It doesn't for Symbian, in Symbian it only shows life timer.
