If you are trying to resolve a problem with VMC on a Mac updated to Snow Leopard, or a new Mac then make sure you have the new compatible software from the above link.

Isn't the secret to getting the most out of these Dongles doing your utmost to avoid the supplied software ?
I have never known so many people (in real life , not on the net) to have so many problems with one piece of software than with VMC ....except perhaps Sony's "Sonic Stage" .

LOL, yea, you're absolutely right. Which is why, until this version, I never bothered. I tend to build the dialler myself having grabbed the drivers from Huawei. It worked absolutely fine.

The new VMC for OS X is full featured unlike its emaciated predecessor.

I think half of the problem is that the mobile network operators insistence on branding is 90% the root of all the problems with products that work fine out of the factory gate.

They're not learning from their own history, and so they are destined to repeat it indefinitely until they do.
