The T-mobile Pulse (http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/mobile-phones/whats-hot/t-mobile-pulse/), available for just £176.16 on PAYG? How much?
Not yet available on-line but said to be had from their stores directly the T-Mobile Pulse (http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/mobile-phones/whats-hot/t-mobile-pulse/) handset is a steal.
Perhaps not the cheapest handset - but the Pulse is the first (and therefore cheapest) Android PAYG handset in the UK.
Manufactured by Huawei this is the first handset of theirs that has hit the UK. This is one company to watch out for, Huawei are a formidable organisation, permeating their technology product across the spectrum. They are very strong in network tech. And they have a number of handsets in the pipe for the West. 2010, I suspect, will see Huawei make their mark on mobile handsets.
Trusted Reviews have done a piece and video short on the Pulse that can be read here -->http://www.trustedreviews.com/mobile-phones/review/2009/10/05/T-Mobile-Pulse-Google-Android-Smartphone/p1
Unlocking
As far as I know there is no formal unlock solution to the T-Mobile Pulse (http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/mobile-phones/whats-hot/t-mobile-pulse/) [yet] but that does not mean that there will not be one in the future.

It's not well-publicised, but T-Mo UK will unlock any handset you've had for more than 28 days. It costs £15.
I don't know if this is true, but if so then it is another way of getting the Pulse onto the network of your choice.
