The long promised iDisk app is finally available for iPhone now in the iTunes store

Cool, a nice touch. Am guessing you can't upload anything from the iPhone, but it's a nice touch all the same.

I love Apple apps, they are always so clean and 'native' looking. Wish they would release some more!

I'm quite glad they've released an iDisk app especially the ability to view other MobileMe members Public Folders. Its a great way to send huge files without clogging your iPhone up. Suppose it bridges the gap between being able to download direct to handset.

I have just realised something potentially fantastic!

If you upload a movie or video to MobileMe onto your iDisk, you can then stream the movie back over your iPhone provided you've got a fast enough data connection!!

Ive just tried it and it works! Saves endless gigs of precious iPhone memory and sticks two fingers up at SlingPlayer.
