whats the default pin for an o2 pay monthly sim card?

filesaveas says 0000 or 4321 for O2 sims, but some networks started giving each SIM a unique PIN so I'm not sure either of those will work. If you get locked out I suppose you'll just have to call O2 for a PUK, if that's an option!

well done o2, people can now call and text me for free from other o2 numbers, even though my number is ported in from 3.

you can sent a black text to 21202 and still get your balance :D

Just to be clear on balance checks, there are two different numbers ...
21202 = Contract SIMs
20202 = PAYG SIMs (and you must text the word "balance" without the quotes)
