I'm not signing up LOL, but I have gone and ordered a free 3 PAYG Sim (http://www.three.co.uk/Pay_As_You_Go/SIM_Only/Free_SIMs)! I want to jailbreak and put the three sim in, just so I know that it's either the iPhone or the network that has the problem with 3G. I know that three have a great 3.5G signal where I live.
Will keep you updated.

Punter: "Errr, it is on that 3 network"

Oh I'm not committing to anything, I'm just using 3 to test whether the iPhone can indeed receive 3G at my house. I'm actually thinking about using vodafone at the end of my contract, they have reasonable sim only deals at the minute, and while not as competitive as O2 they suit me.

Having said that, £15 a month gets you quite a lot on PAYG now-a-days, so the missus might find herself in 3 heaven :D
