hmmmm that does look good.

£25 topup to get unlimited texts, 150mb of data, free 3-to-3 calls, skype and MSN.

Then use the £25 for calls

I think that is all rather expensive. On their PAYG a £10 buys you 1GB of mobile data if you convert the top up.

But then this is yet more 3 convoluted pricing now with a very expensive calls tariff. Maybe one for the desperate. But I am not convinced!

" 3 convoluted pricing now with a very expensive calls tariff"

But is it? Vodafone charge 20ppm.

O2: 25p then down to 5p ( Ithink)

UK standard fixed lines and O2 mobiles 25p/min for the first 3 mins then 5p/min for the rest of day

Virgin 20ppm

T-Mobile 20p Per minute for the first 2 minutes each day 10p Per minute for
the remainder of that day 10p Per text 10p Per minute forvoicemail in the UK

But is it?

Yes, I think it can be. The headline-grabbing data allowance is interesting until you realise that it is subject to a one-month expiry. Use it or lose it! Then it is all much of muchness with the other operators.

I am usually quite wary of these big headline items because if they're putting that much razzamatazz behind it there is usually a bit of a sting somewhere. And with 3 I have no trust in their marketing, lost that ages ago!

Did you read all of the print?

" 3Pay is the only plan where the perks last for 90 days, not 30 days like other networks"

" By simply topping up, they immediately gain these benefits, which last for 90 days. Customers can also double their free texts, by simply topping up online via My3"

Ah! Its a fair cop :D I did miss the 90 day extension. All their stuff was/is usually 30 days.

That certainly is a better proposition.

I don't use 3's mobile BB network ... and the lad is out and about ... I'll ask and see if he's been on today.
