i want to call internationally using VoIP service but i am not happy with Skype. Can anyone tell me any such service ?

Mary W, what's the issue with Skype? Strangely enough, I've just installed it on my iPhone and had an absolutely perfect conversation with my brother in Japan over my VoIP.... no problems!

It gives a message like only IMs are allowed - may be it is because i am using an older firmware version ?

Could be because you're not on a WiFi network.

o2 will not let Apple release an app that allows VoIP calls over the cellular network as it basically cuts them out of the loop!
