I am 2 weeks into a 30 day notice period. I went into my local town Accrington to check out some upgrade options. I went into Phones4U and was offered any handset on 3 they had, on Mix and Match 300 for £15 I thought thats sounds good. I then went into the 3 store. I really only went in to have a look at the new Skypephone s2, but I was told it wasn't in and I could pre-order it. I asked what other upgrade options were available, so I gave him my deteails and he looked on the screen which told him I wasn't eligible for an upgrade.

I thought that can't be right because i've had about 3 phonecalls from 3Uk retentions department trying to get me to upgrade so either I can upgrade or I can't.

Are they having a laugh? Its no wonder I'm thinking of going back to PAYG. So why do the 3 stores and the contact centres why doesn't the info match up?

hi, from contact center we can do an upgrade which 110 days prior to contract end date ,however 3 store can do an upgrade 60days prior to contract end date.May be thats why he told ya that u arent eligible for upgrade:)

yup my contact centre upgrade date is 06/09/08, tomorrow.
