In preparation for the iPhone 3G on Friday one thing that I've been thinking about is how is the easiest / best way to move all my contacts over from my N95 to the iPhone? I have all the photos so that's not an issue but the 500 odd contacts I've got need moving over.. Half of which I probably don't even use any more so it's probably a good time for a cull !
Cheers.

I must admit, I used Outlook when I owned the PC and Sync'ed everything via the Nokia suite.
I know use a Mac and it's even easier.
But if the you only have the addresses etc. in the phone not sure. You could browse via Bluetooth and get the photos off that way etc.?

iSync keeps my contacts current between Address Book and my Nokia, so it should be as easy as docking the iPhone :D

My understanding is that in the PC it is iTunes that will pick up your contacts from Outlook Express or Outlook when you sync up.
In the Mac is is a piece of cake, as Ben says - iSync is the clue. You'll need to download the iSync connector from Nokia's website.

Do you have any of these on the PC in something like outlook?

iSync was indeed the clue and after I'd downloaded the add on for it to view the N95 it was seamless and impressively so.
Synced up all my data from my phone and then bunged it in to iTunes and added it to my Touch to see how it all worked.. Very nicely it did too. In the process also cut down my contacts from 500 to 177 contacts!

I've never been able to get isync to work.
I know it's really simple, but could someone post a step by step guide just so I know I'm doing it right?
Cheers.
