I have a nokia 6280 on 02 payg. - unlimited browsing at £7.50 a month. - Opera mini 4.1 which i downloaded from getjar. Been browsing the net for a year now, but my eyesight going due to staring at such a small screen. I would buy a laptop if i could connect online via mobile. Anybody any ideas ! Cheers

Well, I'm not sure of O2's restrictions on usage, but a bluetooth equipped laptop and phone work well together. Typically you just pair the two and then use Dial Up Networking to dial *99# on the Bluetooth modem to get online.
However, there are other options. Three do a USB Modem that plugs in to laptops from just £5/month - i.e. less than you're paying now. Also, there's the iPhone 3G coming out soon - the screen on that may well be big enough for you to negate the need for a laptop.

On the three website Payg Mobile broadband deals only start from £10 for 1 GB. Where is this £5 deal and can it be used from a laptop?
Thanks

Hi,
Unfortunately the offer finished at the end of May for new customers :( Sorry. https://talk3g.co.uk/showthread.php?t=5552
Existing customers of Three/customers with a mobile phone contract with Three can still get Mobile Broadband half price, though :)
