sound gone on everything

hey the sound on my phone disappeared last nyt. its not on silent or anything and now it wnt ring or message tone. even when i try selecting a ringtone and clicking the option play it says it is but no sound comes out. please help me

Is there anything jammed in your headphone socket? Can you still hear people on calls ok and does speakerphone work?

This happened to my sister's K800i about 4 weeks after she got it, 3 sent her a refurb which had the same problem immediately. They replaced it for a brand new one, which has (touch wood) been fine. I think it's a common problem with them :-(
