Hmmmm, not too much to worry about ..... but it always makes me jump when I get one of these

Dear Customer,

If you connected or upgraded before 29 June 2007 (or before 18 September 2007 if you connected through Carphone Warehouse) the following applies to you. If you connected or upgraded on or after these dates the following changes already form part of your agreement with us.

At O2 we've introduced a new approach to our Consumer Pay Monthly terms and conditions.

To keep it simple, we've separated the terms into two sections:
A Services Agreement that covers our supply of airtime and other services
An Equipment Agreement that covers our supply of phones and other equipment
There are also some general terms that apply to both sections, and all the definitions have been moved to the end of the general terms.

The parts that apply to you will depend on what you have purchased from us.
If you have purchased an airtime tariff with a handset, both sections will apply, but if you have purchased a SIM only tariff, only the Services Agreement will apply.
If you have purchased your equipment from one of our distributors (including Carphone Warehouse), the Equipment Agreement will not apply to you and that distributor may have provided you with their own set of Equipment terms, but the Services Agreement will apply to you as your airtime is being provided by O2.
Most of the terms have simply been re-ordered in accordance with this new structure, but we've made some changes.

If you're a bit hard pressed for time, don't worry, you can find a summary of the changes at a http://www.O2.co.uk/termsconditions/yourairtimecontract (but we do recommend finding a moment to familiarize yourself with the fully updated terms (http://www.O2.co.uk/termsconditions/yourairtimecontract)).

TBH these mails are very common on o2 , I seem to get one every few months - the changes are usually minor things that seem to make little difference
