I went into O2 yesterday to buy a Nokia N95 8GB. I asked for the handset on their £35 per month tariff but they told me it would be £99.99 for the handset. Thankfully one of the other staff from across the room shouted that they had price-matched it to FREE!!
So i now have a unlimited texts, 600 free minutes, unlimited data and a free Nokia N95 8GB!
Chuffed or what?! :D:D:D:D

Nice! :D That does sound like a very worthwhile deal. I hope you get good 3G coverage!
How are you finding the handset?

What a nice deal from O2. My only concern with them has been their [lack of] 3G coverage in the UK. Theirs is the weakest of the bunch at the moment, although one hopes that will change and they'll just end up being last to the wire. I suspect they will have to do something soon though, if for no other reason than to avoid drawing serious critique from Apple 3G iPhone users when the beastie comes to town (I think we'll see it here before the Americans).

3G coverage is 100%. They must be starting north and heading downwards lol! But seriously, i always have 3G coverage wherever I go. I find i had less 3G with Orange and -T-Mobile!
As for the handset itself, well. . .its just everything the N95 should have been from the start! I'm back in love with Nokia! :)

02's 3G coverage in the Glasgow area has been very good for years. I think I benefit from good coverage because I live near a major airport but that aside I have used 02 3G and found it stable locally.

Hi all,
This might be a long shot but does anyone know if o2 are willing to do the handset free of charge anytime soon as I know they offered it free for a short period of time last month on the £35 tariff (18 months) but the price has gone back up to £99.99 and no one either shop or online seems to be budging.
Thanks
Ben

Well, you could always have a go on the phone - seems to be the best way to negotiate deals. Tbh though, the N95 8GB is worth every penny, you wont be disappointed.
