Who runs Talk3G and why should I trust it?
Talk3G is privately owned and run by a group of 3G mobile enthusiasts and industry professionals. Contributors here include end users, first time buyers, experienced users, enthusiasts, employees of the various operators and manufacturers, and professionals - who all have worthwhile questions, comments and suggestions. Talk3G works because you can read posts from this wide range of backgrounds and come to your own conclusions about what is best for you. We hope that over time you will be able to trust Talk3G as a valuable source of 3G information, and that you'll want to visit us frequently to update us on your experiences.
Can I be a moderator?
Yes, you can. We welcome moderator applications (https://talk3g.co.uk/sendmessage.php) but, of course, cannot guarantee you a position. We try and keep a fair and balanced moderator team, and maintaining this balance may mean you joining us is not appropriate at the current time. All help and support is gratefully appreciated.
So how are you making money out of this?
We're not. Infact, Talk3G isn't even covering it's costs. That's not why we're here. If we tried to make money from you then we wouldn't be able to provide the independent and impartial 3G resource that we strive for. We want you to enjoy third generation mobile technologies, so to help you do this is payment enough.
