I hadn't seen this. It was originally screened on BBC2 earlier this year. It's a series of 3 television programmes that discusses our world and our democracy here in the UK in terms of freedom. It explores the different types of freedom, and looks at the results of these types of freedom in history.
Episode 3 (final) also showcases some of the USA and UK's not-so-finest moments exporting freedom to the world. It's quite a watch.
If you've already seen Zeitgeist (The Movie) I think you'll find it very interesting!
I ended up watching The Trap after reading this 6-page article, also fascinating: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/11/20/adam_curtis_interview/
