T-Mobile has dodged a massive investment in telco kit ahead of the launch of mobile TV and other bandwidth sucking services by striking a five year managed network deal with BT.
Interesting, really. I guess T-Mobile probably has the least hard infrastructure of all the mobile networks in the UK bar Three, so outsourcing key build-out to BT probably makes sense.
Apologies for the recent tumble in grammatical standards at The Register. I don't know who's supposed to check their articles, but they're doing a crap job. This is the third one with mistakes in during the last fortnight, and that's just of the few articles I've read. "...will mean BT takes responsibility for connect the mobile firms base stations".
