Ok, Vodafone is expensive for data when compared with some tariffs available on other UK networks.
However, I've noticed this evening that latency is even lower than I remember it being over my HSDPA datacard:

I mean cripes, that's good enough for gaming. Browsing the bog standard interweb feels astonishingly fast right now - seriously - Yahoo, boom, Talk3G, boom, Apple, boom - this is seriously speedy broadband!
In terms of brute bandwidth I'm currently getting 1meg down and 300kbps up, which is nothing too special (I have had more), but the latency improvements really have surprised me.
Is data this good on any other UK network? Or do we really get what we pay for?
