The 3GSM World Congress has renamed itself the Mobile World Show, hoping to attract a more sexy media crowd than the middle-aged telecoms executives who usually frequent the place.

Well I suppose they don't need to worry about the 3 making them sound dated as more new communications technologies are adopted...

I think anything ending 'Show' sounds a bit like those farming and agriculture things. I can just imagine the Nokia guys standing in a field in wellies demo'ing the N95 on a hay bail...

"Show" makes me think of clowns and acrobats, and people on stilts... perhaps that's what the 3GSM was anyway?
