Hey,

Can anyone find where to watch Big Brother's live stream on Vodafone this year? There was a link on the homepage to watch Big Brother live and all it took me to was the TV channels page, where there's no mention of Big Brother what-so-ever!

Not liking the new portal much. It's all very 'meh'.

Oh, and searching for Big Brother in their new Google-enhanced search returns three porn sites. Classy, Vodafone, very classy. :mad:

From the new Vodafone homepage, go to -> TV -> Go about half way down the page, and you'll see "TV extras" with Big Brother as the 1st link.

All I have under "TV extras" is "Racing UK", which is gripping I'm sure, but it's not Big Brother :(

Below that I have Pay-per-day Extras, which is just more porn.

Any idea why I'm not seeing Big Brother like you are? Am using a Nokia N73.

I've got a rough idea idea, but would need to confirm it before saying it was definetly what I think it is.

I tried it on my P990i and Sharp 903, an N95, a SE K800i, and a Samsung Z720 and found it straight away.

When I finally managed to track down a N73, the Big Brother link wasn't there along with a few other things...

I managed to kidnap my ex's N73 for a while tonight and got the same on that 1 as well.

Will give it a go on 1 more when get into work tomorrow.

It's either going to be a fault (firmware not recognised by the Live portal is going to be the most likely 1), or the handset isn't being supported for the Big Brother streaming......(:confused:).

Honestly Ben, not being able to see Big Brother on your mobile, a blessing in disguise perhaps? I'd rather take a rusty nail and hammer it into my temple than watch, IMO, the utter drivel that it is! :o

Thanks for looking into it, faza20 - I'm ever so greatful. Fingers crossed it's a simple fix. If not, perhaps there's a direct link to the page I need to be on that I can type in?

Yea, I had the same experience with T-Mobile's new TV offering with my Nokia N93. They are obviously sensing what machine I'm using and giving out the web page accordingly. But an explicit URL took me to the TV pages where it all worked perfectly! I told T-Mobile about it, they were interested and said they'd pass it on to their developers (who'd not included the N93 as compatible!!! which it is !!)

Managed to find it on a N73 running firmware V2.0628.0.0.1 (old!)

Go to TV, down to the bottom and you should see at the very bottom of the page a link just saying entertainment, follow that, and it 'should' bring up the Big Brother page, with the top link being watch it live.

If it doesn't, can you let me know what firmware version you're running?

I think the firmware will be the problem now we've had it running on a N73

Hmm, things have gotten stranger!

Now on the homepage two of the 'large button things' that represent the new mobile Internet approach (ie one for Live, one for www, one for email and one for something else) have been replaced by long Big Brother banners that don't fit and mess up the page - clicking them takes you to where the actual buttons should go, not to Big Brother.

The TV page has a link to Entertainment Guide at the very bottom, but that doesn't have any links to the Big Brother live stream. I found a Channel 4 page that was about Big Brother, but that looked like an actual C4 mobisite.

The TV page also has the audacity to tell me that I'm not in 3G coverage, when I am :S I still only see Racing UK in TV Extras.

Firmware is v3.0704.1.0.1
