Using the Nokia Software Updater you can get the latest Vodafone firmware if you are on their network. This will be version 11.0.026 dated 17-04-07 so it is not exactly brand new.
My Vodafone-supplied N95 was shipped to me in May with version 10.0.018. So if yours is the same it will be well worth performing the update to get rid of any latent bugs and take advantage of any new bits incorporated in the latest [Vodafone] firmware.
Note: Other MNO brandings may have different versions of the firmware available, as will the unbranded Nokia original product code.
