Hi there,

I have just got my N95 and I have started to use my mobile for interent use and email. Now, when I am at home, I just use the WIFI connection as that is free.

When I am not at home, what connection should I use? There was some preset connection on the phone (02) but I don't know which is the faster (3G?) and if there is a difference, they all look pretty similar.

Thanks in advance.

Paul

It shouldn't make any difference, whichever access point you use that works will speed up as you switch to 3G.

ok,, so any connection will work at the fastest speed possible?

If thats the case, why is there a need for more than one access point?

I always use the one that says Internet Access and have never had any problems.

Is one APN for WAP and the other for GPRS? Don't use WAP under any circumstances  Its the dial-up of the airwaves.

Here's some easy reading for you :D http://www.filesaveas.com/connect.html

This site has improved over the years and I'm sure you'll find the O2 detail for WAP, GPRS (Internet data) and MMS invaluable. Click on the links on the top left of the menu bar for Settings - they're all there with copious explanations too.
