Just received an ad on my phone promoting Vodafone video calling. Same prices, 35p/55p.

Interestingly, in the terms at the end of the advert it said:
"Standard GPRS/3G data charges apply."

WTF?

Now if that's not an extremely sly way to bump up data use I don't know what is! IIRC there's a setting in MMS that allows you not to receive adverts, there definitely is on my 6680.

AFAIK that term was applying to Video Calling - though there's no way of knowing for sure because it was on a line of its own under the Video Calling pricing terms.

I reckon the advert was put together by an idiot. :)
