Does anyone know if you can charge the V630i via USB while switched on and in normal phone mode(and able to use phone) only seems to charge in File Transfer but cant use phone with that mode.

There's probably a non-standard USB cable that can be had from eBay. I found that with SE handsets, they're way too smart for their own good. I ended up with several cables until I found one that would charge the handset from a USB port and not go into File Transfer mode (and no charge!!)

yeah guess its worth a look, tho my old K750i used to charge up straight from usb.
