Just ordered this handset on an upgrade through Orange, well a save. Upgrades wouldn't budge on their £100 cost of the phone, so I called through to customer relations, got through to a very nice chappy, after asking for my PAC code, I told him a little white lie that VF had offered me the handset for free on a £35 priceplan. He said he could do that, gave me 500 mins, unlimited texts, free e&w data and of course the handset free of charge, on an 18 month contract. Not a bad deal me thinks.

Just wondered if anyone had any experience with this handset. If so, what's it like?

I just wanted to congratulate you on the blag. It's unfortunate, but perhaps necessary, that in order to get a worthwhile 'upgrade' offer one must go to these lengths. However, at least now such offers are, eventually, put on the table - not so long ago the only option would have been to switch networks.
