SE's new slimline 3G Walkman looks the biz - and very Apple iPhone lookalike in some respects!
The article has a couple of pix, the links below are all live and will take you to the respective websites.
Do I want one of these? Errrr, not sure really. I've an iPod and a SE W900i the latter of which has fallen into disuse as a music player since the iPod arrived.
What do you think?
Remember last year's rumour (http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2006/11/17/sony_ai_slimline_phone_rumour/) that Sony Ericsson is developing a super-slim Walkman-branded handset, codenamed 'Ai'? Well, here it is, in all its 9.4mm-thick glory, thanks to a Swede who's got his hands on the device.
The pics come courtesy of Swedish Mobil, which has a heap more to view (http://mobil.mkf.se/ArticlePages/200701/31/20070131234421_MOB293/20070131234421_MOB293.dbp.asp) and claims the handset's due to be launched on Tuesday, 6 February - less than a week away.
The shots show the W880's front- and rear-mounted cameras, so it clearly is a 3G model. The main camera's a two megapixel job. Interestingly, the handset's cradle/charger/PC interface is on the left handside, next to what we reckon is the memory card slot. The slimline battery clips on the back.
But enough squinting at the shots to see what we can spot - all the beans should be spilled next week. Stay tuned...
