hi there, so after many months of shall I / shall I not I've got one thats a 6234 : but gaining access to the "Voda Live" is slower than my old 6230i takes ages to connect and get any info news, sport and im showing 3g !!!! anything im missing here folks or bits to do. cos its worst than my works 6021 he he,,,

That's somewhat strange. Can you set the network mode to GSM only and try again? Also, see if Live is still slow when you're in a different area, like at work, and see if other websites are slow like the news.bbc.co.uk site.

just taken it off 3g and still so slow, but can access BBC etc very fast !!! so is this a network thing or a hand set issue

Are you saying that the Vodfone portal is very slow, but if you go "off net" to the BBC or another Internet website that the speed is very much quicker? If so that would be a sign of an issue with the Vodafone portal itself (not tried it of late). How slow is slow, btw? How many seconds from hitting Live! does it take for the portal page to begin to show?

Such on-net and off-net differences should be flagged to Vodafone CS (but you've got to hope to get a CS who is into data, ask for their team rather than the handset peeps).
