[Desperate Dan]

Hi all, hoping someone can help me here and it's not all the disaster it appears to be.

I turned my phone off in order to catch a flight yesterday evening and when I now attempt to turn it back on, after the sony ericsson logo appears the screen flashes from a white blank screen to a black blank screen.

It just doesn't seem to want to turn on at all?

Has anyone else had this problem and is there an easy fix solution?

I've tried leaving it on the charger over night and still nothing this morning.

Please please help as there is so much on the phone, especially contact details that i'm afraid to lose.

Hey Dan, welcome to Talk3G.

There are a couple of things you could try. Take the battery out and leave it out for a little while, maybe 15 minutes or so. You could also remove the SIM card and memory card. Put it all back together and have annother go.

You could also try removing the memory card completely and trying - that could be causing problems.

It's possible that the phone has, unfortunately, died and will need to go back to Sony Ericsson for repair. If this is the case then it is indeed likely you will lose your contacts - but on the upside you'll probably never neglect backing them up again ;)
