Hi. Does anybody have a rough idea when the U400 will come out on pay as you go? And also what sort of price it will be as I think it looks great
Cheers

e2save have some good contract deals with cashbacks on the U400 making it far cheaper than the 30p/min X/Net call cost on WePay.
You can get it on a 12 month deal with 500 X/Net mins a month and 100 SMS for £247.96 (£20.66 a month) from OSPS or £262.50 on VTT700 from e2save. Both of those dealers are part of CPW Group and should be a safe bet for redemption as long as you meet the terms of the offer.
For best deals on U400 and other phones check out www.mobdeal.com

Thing is I am only 15 so cannot get a contract and would not have enough cash-flow for monthly payments. Thats why pay as you go is better for me. Also i do not use my phone enough for it to be financially worth it to take out a contract.

Getti said that it would be out this week, see https://talk3g.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2913 for just a shade under £200, but that last bit is unconfirmed yet.

Might be an idea to try and get a parent or relative to get one on contract then.
If you paid £200 for the LG U400 on WePay then topped up with £20 credit a month you would end up paying £440 for not a lot of talktime. You could top-up with the £25 a month (500 minutes) bundle but that means you end up paying over £500 and still have to pay for texts.
The T/T 600 12 month contrcat deal is miles cheaper regardless of how many calls you make. 500 minutes and 100 texts a month works out at just £77.96 (assuming you get a £30 WePay top-up with the phone on PAYG). If my maths are correct that means if you subtract the cost of the handset (£170.00) then you pay the equivilent of just £6.50 a month for voice and text for 500 mins and 100 SMS. A WePay credit of £6.50 would buy just 15 texts and just 17 minutes of X/Net calltime. And dont forget if you get lots of incoming calls you only get credit the following month up to the value of your top-up amount!! Its a no loose gamble for 3 as you have already paid 3 times as much for calls and twice as much for SMS than Tesco mobile charge on their extra deal!
If you are a low user and can't get a contract then it pays to look at all the options available as I am positive you will be seriously stung if you are tempted by just one particular gadget.
