Well i have had enough reported it to watchdog and now going to pick a new phone as 3 have given in under pressure and i will gladly send the 6280 wonder phone:mad: (not). back to them reflashing just isnt working and i think nokia have boobed totally on this one, sorry it wasnt good news but for this phone i dont think there is.

Welcome to Talk 3G.

Sorry to hear that your experience with the 6280 was so bad. It does seem to have been entirely variable on the 3 network. My daughter has just got hers back after a V03.81 relfash, too early to tell at the moment if it has been successful or not. First thing she noticed is that the T9 dictionary no longer stores words that it has "learned". That does seem to be common among later versions of the firmware, perhaps Nokia broke it!

I have the 6280 on T-Moble and it works faultlessly with V03.60. I half think that it is 3's specific implementation of the firmware that is causing so much of the problems with what is, otherwise, a fairly good S40 Nokia. The T-Mobile 6280 does all that it says on the tin.

Good luck with your "upgrade" - what are you going for this time? N80 perhaps?

that sounds like a badly done image and content flash.
